Western Union is a remittance network that provide cross-border money transfer over 200 countries. Foreigners can remit money from AYA bank back to their home.

How to send money?

  • Go to AYA Bank (selected Branches)
  • Fill the form with supporting documents (available for Family, Education, Travel, Medical, etc)

Eligibility

  • Maximum 3,000 USD per transaction
  • Maximum 10,000 USD per year

Fees & Charges

  • 25 USD or 32,000 MMK Per Transaction

How to recieve money?

  • Receive money at any Western Union agents.
  • Beneficiary must provide the following: Beneficiary’s NRC, Sender’s Name, Sending Country, Transfer Amount & 10 digits MTCN code

Western Union is a remittance network that provide cross-border money transfer over 200 countries worldwide. Myanmar people across the globe can remit their money through agents across the world.

  • Nil (Depending on sending country’s preference)

  • No charges will be collected from beneficiary.

How to recieve money?

  • Receive money at any AYA Branches.
  • Beneficiary must provide the following: Beneficiary’s NRC, Sender’s Name, Sending Country, Transfer Amount & 10 digits MTCN code

DBS

Ya Lah! DBS to AYA Remit

Ya Lah! DBS to AYA Remit service is to transfer money from DBS Singpore to AYA customers and other bank customers in Myanmar through AYA bank as settlement bank.

Eligible customer

  • Sender must be an account holder of DBS bank and subscribed to DBS i/mBanking.
  • Receiver must be an account holder of AYA Bank or other local banks in Myanmar.

Step – 1

Sender must open a bank account at DBS Bank and subscribed to DBS i/mBanking in order to use the Service.

Step – 2

Sender needs to provide the following information.

To send money to AYA Bank Account Holders

  • Sender Name
  • Receiver’s Branch Name
  • Receiver‘s Account holder Name
  • Receiver’s Bank Account Number
  • Amount

To send money to other Bank Account Holders

  • Sender Name
  • Sender NRC
  • Sender Address
  • Sender Phone Number
  • Receiver’s Bank Name
  • Receiver’s Branch Name
  • Receiver‘s Account holder Name
  • Receiver’s Bank Account Number
  • Receiver’s Address
  • Receiver’s Phone Number
  • Amount

Key-in all the required infromation in DBS iBanking/mBanking in order to transfer money.

Step – 3

For receiver, you can simply check the balance through your iBanking/mBanking, nearest ATM and Bank branches and SMS Alert if you have subscribed.
