Marking a resounding success, the job fair was attended by over 4,000 talented professionals from various industries and participated by over 40 of Myanmar’s prominent local and international companies spanning diverse industries. JobNATION leveraged its cutting-edge Paperless Technology to streamline the job application process with the usage of the innovative Digital CV ID system. The advanced application management system enhanced efficiency and smooth interaction between talents and companies. We are delighted to participate in the outstanding and successful job fair and had the chance to provide talents with important job market information, exciting job opportunities and shape their own future.
This year, AYA Bank celebrated its anniversary by conducting a nationwide donation drive. We are proud to announce the donation week commencing from 11th August, 2023 to commemorate the Bank’s 13th Anniversary, with various activities organized by head offices in Yangon and branches across the country. We embarked on the charitable contribution of total amount in excess of MMK 100 million, both cash and in kind to deserved people and several charity organizations.
On the early morning of 11th August 2023, Warso robe offering ceremony was held at Rowe Head Office in Yangon, presented by senior management and office staff. The recurrence was conducted at River View Head Office in the afternoon. On the same day and the next, various charitable activities in the localities of AYA Bank’s operation divisions, were led by the Head of Divisions, along with staff from respective branches. AYA Bank’s family contributed cash and other necessities to home for the aged, philanthropic schools, monasteries, orphanages and youth centers throughout the country to mark the Bank’s anniversary by doing good deeds.
Over the last decade, AYA Bank has developed its fiscal expertise with its core business activities of corporate banking, consumer banking and retail banking. Multiple industry awards throughout the years bear further testimony to AYA Bank’s strength, experience and consistency. For 13 years of better banking, AYA Bank presently employs more than 6,000 employees across its offices and branches, and also provides treasury, investment banking, project financing and banccasurance services.

We are pleased to share that in continuation of our endeavor to support the next generation, we welcomed a very promising undergraduate students from Myanmar Noble University College to AYA Bank’s Riverview Head Office on July 27, 2023. The aim of the initiative is to help students learn about the latest technology trend, to give exposure about the practical aspects of banking industry and to understand opportunities available after school.
During the visit, U Minn Wint Oo, Managing Director of Banking Operations and Retail Banking at AYA Bank, graciously shared his extensive knowledge of the industry and highlighted the corporate milestones achieved by the bank. He encouraged the students to make the most of this opportunity, allowing them to gain deeper insights into the workings of banking operations and the ongoing digital transformation within the industry. The visit was attended by a total of thirty-six students who had the opportunity to explore and tour the bank's premises.
We firmly believe that this industrial visit served as a bridge between the theoretical knowledge imparted in the classroom and its practical application in the real-world industry setting. By exposing the students to the inner workings of a leading bank like AYA Bank, we hope to empower and inspire them to make informed career choices and pursue opportunities in the banking sector.

AYA Bank has proudly wrapped up the second batch of ‘Certified Branch Managers Program’ for our 2ICs, who are the next person to lead the branch, with a special welcome and inspirational talk by our Founding Chairman, U Zaw. Esteemed guest speakers, Professor Dr. Aung Tun Thet and Daw Aye Aye Win also shared invaluable insights on key banking topics. As per the program agenda, our Executive Team led enlightening discussions, arming branch managers with effective strategies. The program aligned with our dedication to excellence, ongoing business evolution, and tackling market challenges.
Organized by People, Learning and Development teams, the comprehensive certification program evaluated managers across various criteria, highlighting our commitment to enhancing their expertise. Our People Division relentlessly fosters growth and achievement, underscoring our dedication to professional development. Through the blended curriculum, this program has provided a space for 2ICs to better understand themselves and their role as a manager. The program ended successfully with interactive learning and discussions and a plan for taking the key practices back into the organization and people.
AYA Bank PCL participated in the online trading platform where the Central Bank of Myanmar is planning to trade foreign currency between AD-licensed banks and customers. The amount of transactions and the foreign exchange rates per day are attached.
On June 22, 2023, AYA Bank organized a workshop to launch the Certified Branch Managers Program, bringing together our 265 Branch Managers from across the nation. The workshop served as an insightful and productive session, with the aim of recapping our business direction, addressing market challenges and opportunities, and fostering continuous improvement.
